Freeze Dried Shallots

Shallots are a frequent addition to many soup and sauce recipes because of their unique onion and garlic flavor. Commonly used in French cooking before coming to the States, these dried shallots are great for using in your favorite meats, seafood and veggies. Add dried minced shallots to bread loaves for an oniony kick. Reconstitute by covering with equal parts water to shallot or use as-is in longer cooking processes.
